Refund Policy

At FrenchLensPhotography, I understand that sometimes plans change. This refund policy outlines the terms under which refunds are offered for photo sessions.

1. Deposits

  • All deposits are non-refundable, unless the session is canceled by me due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency).

  • Deposits secure your session date and time and cover initial preparation costs.

2. Cancellations

  • Client cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled session:
    → Full refund of any payment made beyond the deposit.
    → You may also reschedule at no extra charge.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session:
    → No refund, unless due to emergencies or exceptional circumstances, evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
    → Rescheduling may be offered depending on availability.

  • No-shows (client fails to arrive without notice):
    → No refund will be given. The session is considered forfeited.

3. Photographer Cancellations

  • If I must cancel the session due to illness, emergency, or conditions beyond my control, you will be offered:

    • A full refund or

    • The option to reschedule at a mutually convenient time

4. Weather Conditions

  • In case of bad weather (for outdoor shoots), the session can be rescheduled at no cost.

  • If rescheduling is not possible, a refund (excluding deposit) may be considered.

5. Refunds After Delivery

  • Due to the nature of photography, no refunds are issued after images have been delivered, unless:

    • There is a technical failure (e.g., no usable photos due to equipment error), in which case a partial or full refund may be offered.

    • You are unsatisfied for a valid, documented reason, and no retouch or correction can be provided.
